Paddy Bed Type dryer/ cooler
Paddy Bed Type dryer/ cooler is used to remove water residue and moisture from soaked paddy in the par boiling system and also remove moisture from harvested paddy. . Made up of a blower and in the fluidization chamber, the air blown will pass through the wet paddy, as well as fluidize and move the paddy, removing excess moisture.
In this dryer both the grain and air are moving in the same direction. This type of dryer has the advantage of using very high drying air temperatures without affecting grain quality and do not suffer the variation in grain moisture contents because all kernels are exposed to the same temperatures.
